I know some people are skeptical of Google’s Willow announcement (the editorial insertion of a reference to the computation happening in parallel universes didn’t help). But I can’t shake the feeling that we’ve witnessed the Chat GPT moment of quantum computing

That watershed moment almost two years ago to this day when ChatGPT was publicly released and there was a collective realization as to what the future of LLMs holds

Far from retail but what I really mean by ChatGPT moment is an inflection point I think. From theory to it becoming suddenly tangible — and faster so from here onward

i may have confused your response of not retail towards chatGPT. I mean willow was announced yesterday no? you gotta give it sometime, it's a hardware piece too so distribution will take a different timeframe. but the acceleration of software is going to be massive if it's all good tech.
