That guide is missing some details since we added signature validation. Add --signature-check=false to the end of that command for this step

Ran into the same issue yesterday and found this workaround on Discord!

Generally the two guides (.space and .guide) are a bit behind but also not aligned with each other, which is a bit confusing (eg, one recommends running ~/ceremonyclient/node/linux... which doesn't exist, the other to install a go/bin/node binary)

btw how are you safekeeping the keys on step 9 https://quilibrium.guide/setup-node/setup-node-9 

i dunno how safe i feel storing them on my computer lol, but maybe theres nothing at stake now?

haha yeah gotcha. 

i dont think im gonna be able to run Q on this nuc for now unfortunately. tested it out for a while.. makes my cpu spike to 100% and i cant run anything else lol.

In my password manager... I wouldn't do that for any other crypto, but in this instance there's nothing of value, I treat this as an experiment
