What role does ETH mainnet play in this cycle? With so much attention being driven to L2s like @base it begs the question... are people ever going to use L1 again? Is that a bad thing if the answer is no? And what does that mean for ETH as a store of value? Discuss.

I don't think there is a need to really roll more projects onto ETH, but as a store of value ETH will still be necessary as it is the currency of the backend of all of the L2/L3 stuff that rides upon the L1. So sooner or later, everything settles in ETH for L1 validity.
