just got this email about the 'prohibited list' for 2025 one of the weirdest things we have to think about a lot as professional athletes is accidentally cheating we have to be super careful about what we consume we cant buy over the counter supplements, medications or protein powders without it having an 'informed sport' certification we also have to check every medication on a website called globaldro and even then its not guaranteed to be 100% clean i remember freaking out cos they even said we can get a banned from second hand smoke haahah its such an interesting job 💀

yeah thats a huge ban like 8 years some athletes do get caught using steroids and get banned, but they are normally part of a bigger doping scheme and not just accidentally buying them over the counter watch icarus on netflix it kinda explains how that works

Watched it, fascinating stuff. Can't remember the guy's name but there was a disc thrower turned chemist that kinda spilled the beans on this entire world of designer steroids. Are there tests out for blood doping?
