my session today was 8 x 90m sprint-cruise-sprints its all about being able to control our speed first 30m is about building speed, the next 20m is flat out, then we cruise (slow down) for 20 and the last 20 is flat out again this gets me used to my run up for triple jump as when running we have to drive out , maintain our speed and then accelerate into the board fun fact there are little sensors that measure our speed at competitions which is useful for coach to be able to see which bit of the run we need to work on! *as there are 8 athletes in my group, all doing different things we do a hand signal to coach so he knows when were ready which is what i’m doing at the start of the clip!
