supplement haul 🤪 i’m prepping for 3 weeks in south africa for training this friday! after my surgery in january, i researched vitamins and supplements to aid my recovery. while i always prioritize eating well, adding supplements, after consulting with my nutritionist, really helped. here's my stack: - collagen shot (20,000m) omg does wonders for my knees - iron to combat midday fatigue (im deficient) - cod liver oil for brain health (adhd) - vitamin d (not pictured here) for mood and if you haven’t noticed im black and live in england so rly lacking - magnesium + vitamin b complex for sleep and mood (i take at night w tart cherry juice ) - pea protein for post training if i can’t get food in time ( im gf and lactose free so pea it is) - electrolytes for hydration - vitamin c for immunity & for collagen and iron absorption - l-arginine & l-lysine for muscle recovery and MAYBE mood!? (this is new so i’m testing it out) shout out to @nicholas for the prompt
