its afro-caribbean so u can have jollof rice, jerk chicken or BOTH which makes me happy

I used to get food at an afro-carribean place in levenshulme. Just a woman on her own doing all the cooking and serving. She cooked with battered old pans with no handles and she would grab the sides of the hot pan to shake them while cooking. Nutz!

When i moved out of manc i tried to give my pans with handles to her, but she didn’t want them 😭
