interesting!! any reason why or just fell off for you? i feel like the type of humour on it is very different to typical us comedy in movies or shows is it cos its new york based?

it is very different than normal comedy. I think it stems from how the show started in the 1970s as more like a place for stand-up comedians to explore a sketch show. so that’s a little bit challenging in the US but of course they had some of the greatest talents that we’ve ever had over the years which made the show great. I feel like it’s lost its way in the last 10 or 15 years. Like a lot of Hollywood it’s become a pulpit for political or social activism, rather than simply being a commentary on culture if that makes sense.
