i’ve been testing the inner circle app for the past few months, and here are my takeaways: - it’s cool to see a web2 social experiment with a paid model for athlete creators - similar to on here they have a leaderboard where the most engaged users get rewards every week but its through stripe to my bank not onchain ( how cool would it be if it was ) - reward pool isn’t large atm i think i’ve made around $30 since joining and my highest leaderboard position was 2nd - there is a paid subscription with content behind a paywall i haven’t used this feature but have one subscriber also how many leaderboard points would i earn if i onboarded alexis to farcaster? https://x.com/alexisohanian/status/1893058128297763300?s=46

I've never used Stripe, but I imagine there would probably be an exchange fee from dollars to pounds...? The economics of InnerCircle are interesting because it would need to bring on lots of fans so athletes get paid more... which would also bring more athletes which might split the pool more... but definitely the more paying fans the better.

yep im pretty sure stripe takes a fee! and yes its deffo interesting, having more fans who pay for subs overall is good for the app but idk if thats means more earnings for all athletes i wonder if the app gets more users and investment the reward pool could be bigger to incentivise more athletes to join either way i still prefer onchain!
