i was invited to beta test a new app by reddit co-founder alexis ohanian 

the aim of the app is for fans of professional athletes to access behind-the-scenes content 

atm there's only about 10 athletes on there, from college athletes to olympic champions and each week the most engaging posts get a payout

i mean it doesn't quite compare to warpcast rewards

but it's interesting

i wonder if more apps will start rewarding content creators in this way

the ui of the app is a cross between tiktok and instagram

and my lil fave thing about the app is the “verified personal bests” and the achievement section

it pulls every official PB idk where from 
but they’re legit and you can choose which ones to add to your profile 

its nice to look at athletes achievements as its not something you normally see all in one place 

wikipedia is often a-bit unreliable with that sorta thing but this is accurate and fun

interested to see how the app develops
