The wildest interaction I’ve had this year was when a lady working at a Big 4 consulting firm looked me straight in the face and said, “I don’t believe in globalism, and I don’t believe in crypto because it threatens the US dollar.” In that moment, I felt her conviction.

Honestly I understand her comments. From a US perspective globalism has empowered China as a peer competitor. In terms of crypto it will only be a competitor to the US dollar if the US fails to control its debt. Otherwise it will act as an extension of US dollar power through instruments like Stablecoins.
