2. ('Dot Zero' #1 -🧵) The list of contributors was astonishing for its time, and the topics it covered (new technologies, transportation graphics, semiotics) were not addressed in design press then. Issue #1 includes articles by Marshall McLuhan and Bruno Munari, to name a few, and a book review on Vasarely!

5. ('Dot Zero' #1 -🧵) Intended as a quarterly, 'Dot Zero' sadly published only 5 issues between 1966 and 68. Set in 2 weights of Helvetica and printed on white uncoated paper almost exclusively in b&w, the design of 'Dot Zero' stood out then and feels equally distinctive today. ⊙ ⊙ ⊙ ⊙ ⊙
