i like both of those for reasons that are too complex to explain easily & they're on my 'love' & 'think about' shelf. 

the issue w/ those quick cycles, well, one big one, is it doesn't allow for things to be digested. like its just hot take culture bs. 

& that means things don't seep into the (cultural) soil.

the sad thing is how fast things cycle through now. that book has pretty much been relegated to the memory hole even though everyone was reading it for a few weeks (╥_╥) more recently, it was the book tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow. everything feels disposable
