Feeling discouraged by Farcaster. Every update makes channels harder to follow (on Warpcast - they ghee always been the weak point of supercast) giving more weight to a timeline I don't care about. That's the opposite of what I wanted. Also, I don't get to be a member of /books, so why would I keep participating if people can't even see what I write? My recs might as well go back to Twitter or, much better, on my blog where I decide what people can see. Sad times.

ya, i just did a channel clean out. i noticed /books also wants you to pay to post (subscribe) which, um, ya, i'm not going to do. they should be paying me for all the books i know about and can rec...

i _think_ the membership thing is for the book club but i'm not sure and either that's a warpcast fail or a warpcast AND /books fail but i'm not enjoying it
