I’ve used many many languages into production over the years, and I still can’t work out if JavaScript is an abomination to teams and maintenance like Perl and PHP, or it’s genius and should be everywhere?

… PS I know it’s already everywhere by mistake, but let’s focus :o)

I love that I can build virtually anything with JavaScript. 

I also hate that when I use Typescript on a React/Next.js project I have to deal with whatever the f React.DOMAttributes<HTMLButtonElement>.onClick?: (event: React.MouseEvent<HTMLButtonElement, MouseEvent>) is. Like what did we do??! 😭

It's impressive. They made C++ look nice and clean by comparison.

(And as a Lisper I think: they make fun of my parens but use this syntax soup without blinking?!)
