Coffeecasters — sometimes I get the jonesing for a cup instead of my usual bang energy. What do you recommend as the ultimate coffee/espresso maker (that doesn’t also require a PhD in coffeeology)?

Lasts forever. I bought a 20 year old one second-hand and I've been using it for years.

You do have to experiment a little with the right amount of coffee and the grain size but then you're set.

I wouldn't call that coffeeology.
