A smart whale with 3.37T #PEPE ($31.44M) is selling #EIGEN at a loss! On October 3rd and 4th, the whale spent 1360 #ETH ($3.24M) to buy 909K #EIGEN at $3.56. Later, they sold 772K #EIGEN for 988.5 #ETH ($2.39M) at $3.1. Currently, the whale holds 139.8K #EIGEN ($449K) and has incurred a $407K loss. Zora’s evolution is basically a textbook example of @cdixon.eth’s “come for the tool, stay for the network”. The creator tool had a natural onchain network effect with collectors, so we started to build around that emergent network. Follow train of thought for ~2 years and you end up with Zora today.

Above 62K+ may lead to $6 billion in short liquidations. Funding is negative, F&G index at 33—fearful. Expect a correction to around 55,800, but avoid shorting. Changpeng Zhao has been permanently removed from managing Binance. Binance has permanently removed Changpeng Zhao from management, confirmed by the company’s new CEO, Richard Teng. Zhao will remain the majority shareholder but will no longer serve on the board of directors. Zhao is currently serving a four-month prison sentence in the U.S. and is expected to be released on September 29. The charges against him include money laundering and sanctions violations. Binance has agreed to pay a $4.3 billion fine and replace Zhao as part of a settlement with U.S. authorities. Zhao pleaded guilty, paid an additional fine, and stated that he will focus on investments in blockchain, AI, and biotechnology. New Binance CEO Richard Teng has promised active cooperation with regulators.

❌ Hackers have compromised the Twitter account of NEAR Protocol. They’re telling people to "delete their Twitter account, go outside, and start a normal life"… Calling everyone in WEB3 "scammers," and they’ve changed the username to "it's all a lie." So far, there are no links to fake airdrops or scam tokens.
