When to hold and when to fold. When you’re holding an investment that hasn’t run yet, how do you decide what to do? Do you wait it out, trusting it’ll pop, or cut your losses and put the money into something showing real momentum? This is something that I am still learning through practice. I tend to hold losses for too long and sell winners too fast. Weighing patience versus opportunity cost can be a real challenge! What’s your strategy? How do you make the call when everything is pumping except your bag? 😂

It really depends on the state of the market, as you are always competing against other investors. The most recent trading example I can share is with Trump/Kamala Solana memecoins. The market moved very quickly. My Kamala coins went to zero long before it was 100% clear to me that Trump had won. That gave me insight into what to do with my Trump coins, which had pumped before election day in anticipation of a further rise after the announcement. The pump didn’t happen; the price stayed high during the race. Given how the Kamala coins performed, I decided to sell most of my Trump coins and go to bed. It ended up being the right decision when I checked the price the next morning, most had dipped very hard, up to -90%. This suggests the market is currently filled by traders rather than typical normies who might have bought in after the news. These traders anticipated a news-driven pump to sell into, but when it didn’t happen, the price spiraled downward rapidly. 5000 $AEL
