I get annoyed with the text input on mobile. Sometimes I will be tying and the keyboard will disappear. Sometimes I will try to @-mention someone and it will print their name twice and I have to fumble around with my fat fingers.

+1 there are all sorts of weird quirks with @-mentioning people it prints their name twice, or prints their name in the wrong spot, little hard to even describe which is why I haven't reported it in the past

My technical guess is that this happens with React-variable-bound text inputs but in truth I have no idea. Just looks similar to me.
