Saw this quote and it made me think about the relationship between strength and kindness. This seems to imply kindness is a choice and is separate from strength, that you can be strong but not kind. I think true strength comes from kindness. If you appear strong but not kind, you aren’t truly strong. Thoughts?

In German we used to say “Sanftmut” the courage to be soft/kind. It’s an old word and not common anymore. I love it. It’s easy to be harsh.
