Did you know you can add dots anywhere in your gmail email address? If your email is [email protected], gmail automatically reserves [email protected] and all other possible addresses with dots in them.

Use this regularly to create multiple accounts with same email (Neynar for example) or filter out services I think will spam.

yeah, dots don't matter and you can use "+" to create more accounts. For example [email protected] is the same as [email protected].

Have done this for years! You can also add a plus sign to the end of your username too like toadyhawk+gmfarcaster@gmail which is a great trick for spam tracking.

I have a friend who uses this as a filter, so that if an email goes to First.Last instead of FirstLast, he has it send to a different folder, I guess for subscriptions
