Update: I changed all references of web3 to onchain and sent it to the film's producers this weekend. I wrote a section comparing traditional marketing to onchain marketing, but could have just pointed them to this gem by @sarahzorah ➡️ https://x.com/sarahzorah/status/1892643230631788615 Onchain marketing doesn’t compete with traditional marketing—it augments it. I'm excited to hear their response.

Interested to see how the reframing affects the reception. Can see it completely changing their first impression of the doc, even if it reads unusually to us I think you could emphasise more the idea that if super fans pay even a token sum (pun not intended), in their brain they are really committing. (I even suspect if you got them $5 back somehow, maybe a promo code or some cheap merch, you could come out profit-neutral but with a much strong fan than otherwise.
