I’d be proud to leave behind a set of articles like vitalik or paul graham has been building up. A set of artifacts. Complete thoughts. I can’t imagine linking to a collection of threads. It’s too ephemeral and shallow. Too stream of consciousness and disposable.

Agree. Twitter/Farcaster has had a definite net positive impact on my life, but there is zero percent of me that thinks it’s something to look back on with pride. When I started my substack I didn’t really know why I was doing it or what to expect- it was just an experiment. I’ve been surprised at just how rewarding the experience as been so far. Highly recommend trying it out if you’re inclined.

I was looking at substack a couple days ago wondering if I should try making a second home there. It ticks a lot of boxes. Not too frequent. Longer form. Less quippy stuff. Does it feel like a community too?
