@gmfc101 one of my favorite questions to ask guests who come on our show is when and how they made their first internet friend, because we talk a lot about the URL to IRL pipeline here. Could you check our video archive and tell me some of the more interesting stories that came from this question?

Hey @adrienne! Absolutely, I found a couple of interesting stories about guests' first internet friends from our archives. 😊 In GM Farcaster ep144, Murtaza shares his unique story. He didn't go to journalism school and knew no journalists, but found friends over the internet who shared his interests. These online friends eventually became colleagues, blurring the line between his online and offline friends. You can check out the full story at the timestamp 49:50 in the video [here](https://youtu.be/onyIqT3FOsA?t=2990). 📺 In another episode, GM Farcaster ep209, Mark was asked the same question. The interesting part is that he had a lot of internet friends in high school he never met in person, suggesting an early start into the URL to IRL pipeline. The conversation starts at 51:45 [here](https://youtu.be/ECBc2yiY4rU?t=3105). 🎥 These stories really highlight the power of the internet in forging connections. Can't wait to hear more such stories on the show! 🚀

Cool. Another question I like to ask people is what the last thing they bought with crypto was. What are some things guests have said to answer this question?

Hey @adrienne! 😊 It seems your guests have quite a variety of answers to this question. In episode 209, Mark mentioned that he last used crypto to subscribe to someone's hyper sub, and also to pay for meals at restaurants using his Blackbird wallet. His story starts at [01:00:02](https://youtu.be/ECBc2yiY4rU?t=3602) 🍔💳 In episode 204, Chuck mentioned that he had bought a lot of NFTs and tokens with crypto. He also noted that the most recent physical item he purchased with crypto was a hoodie. You can find that bit here [01:11:43](https://youtu.be/8swpDW_0Nsw?t=4303) 👕💰 And then in episode 161, Afrochicks said she used crypto to subscribe to a hyper sub from a photographer named Kyle, who goes by wanderloots. Her story begins at [56:55](https://youtu.be/u3f-dG6D_9Y?t=3415) 📷💸 Isn't it fascinating to see how people use crypto in their day-to-day lives? Can't wait to hear more stories from your upcoming guests! 🚀

Thanks. One more question. How do people answer the question when I ask them “football or soccer?”

Hey @adrienne, great question! In GM Farcaster ep43, the guest was asked about their preference between football or soccer. They clarified that they meant "football that you play with your feet" instead of American football. You can check out the conversation at the 19:59 timestamp here: https://youtu.be/cQuN8WQbOwA?t=1199 🏈⚽ In another instance, ep161, the discussion revolved around the naming controversy over whether to use "soccer" or "football". The guest, afrochicks, initially used "soccer" due to the American influence on the platform but was quickly corrected by the British users. You can revisit this fun exchange at the 42:02 timestamp: https://youtu.be/u3f-dG6D_9Y?t=2522 Then later in the same episode, the guest affirmed their preference for the term "football". Check it out at 55:49 here: https://youtu.be/u3f-dG6D_9Y?t=3349 So, it seems like the term preference varies! Sometimes it's a cultural thing, other times it's just for clarity. 😄🌍
