I’m sitting with 2 friends who are not on farcaster, who understand blockchain but are not crypto native. One is a materials engineer and one is a physicist.

biggest thing for me personally is bc the data is on the blockchain it’s all up for free analysis or insights, might be attractive to them

one of them reminded me we wanted to build playdater app to help parents match with nearby parents to find playdates

I was explaining how building it as a farcaster frame would be easier b/c of composability and what you get out of the box -
user accounts, location, social graph
various services that provide social score to prevent scammers
distribution

haha good point

but as the old saying goes, to the man with a hammer, everything is a frame that needs to be built?  or something like that

i’d say the really cool thing about an open ecosystem is you can identify the other parents with kids your age and create groups for them dynamically instead of needing to make an app and find users and etc
