What are you all having for dinner tonight? Here’s my plan: I had too many yellow heirloom tomatoes from the garden and couldn’t eat another tomato sandwich so I’m making a simple soup! Roasted the tomatoes with onion and garlic for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Added veg stock and puréed with a handheld immersion blender. Planning to add a little heavy cream and garnish with parsley, and will serve with some grilled cheese sandwiches.

@dawufi we established garnish does not count as a topping so what topping would you recommend for this soup?

I’m not @dawufi even though some people think so. Even so I suggest skipping parsley and trying some of these bad boys: - don’t overthink: fresh cracked pepper - better than parsley: basil - not everyone’s cuppa: crushed thyme All of those work with a grilled cheese pairing.

Didn’t have those options handy so stuck with parsley, but all sound yum
