Up until a few years ago I only ever invested in public markets. Made some VC investments over the past 2 years. And just yesterday I wrote my very first angel check this to a founder I met on farcaster.

It’s been a fun journey to start diversifying with riskier and less liquid investments. There are many secondary benefits with angel and VC that are real but hard to quantify-expanded network, access to private information, invitations to future investment opportunities. Public markets easier but not as fun
