I am second hand angry and scarred I have a similar story about a leadership training I went thru that included a psychology assessment. They said there was no wrong answer and we only needed to understand people’s motivations but reading between the lines there was definitely a certain profile they wished everyone had

on the flip side at stack overflow i went to a management camp where they made us take conflict resolution type tests then sat us down one by one and said “ok the reason you and ___ are having misunderstandings is bc you are avoidant and he’s accommodating” or etc — it was AMAZING

Omg I would love that!! One of the first books I was “forced” to read when I joined the work force was Crucial Conversations and it was amazing and I think more companies and organizations should be actively teaching this as a skill Come to think of it, why isn’t it more widely included in corporate L&D?
