GitHub has cited the auto update script as the cause, but has stated they will not reinstate the repo. I am continuing to push back on this, because we are more than willing to cooperate with what they need.

Way to go Seen to many projects loose all their work because of relaying on github But if I understood correctly the code oneday can be stored on Q, is it?

That is correct, the plan always included moving git hosting onto Q itself, but their decision to force our hand resulted in setting up a privately hosted repo immediately, and subsequently on Q soon after.
