Major difference for me between starting Bountycaster and my prior fund Scalar

Scalar - outside of the first 2 years that we needed to raise the fund, I barely did any promotion of it/myself and relied on word of mouth among founders and investors to get deal flow (worked really well)

Bountycaster - it's critical to talk about it all the time and spread the word to raise awareness and get more distribution. Had to immediately overcome my feeling of not wanting to talk too much about myself or what I'm working on
