The past year for me has been really lonely. The loneliness has caused me to revise a lot of priors. 

And also has given me a ton of contempt for technologists who have it all figured out and talk about lonely people as if we are animals to study in a lab. “What should we do for them” “We can’t allow them to have AI friends” “Maybe you just need a roommate”

Ironically—leave us alone!

I understand this. I cast myself into solitude 3 years ago after my last breakup. 
I needed to fix myself. And I did..but I isolated myself for so long I created a whole new set of phycological and emotional issues for myself that I do not like. 
So…I get what you mean about certain things.
