I've been using Brave the past few months to listen to YouTube in the background. I have YouTube through Brave saved to my home screen as an app icon to replace YouTube's app.

Brave lets you listen to YouTube videos in the background with one quick setting change. 🎧 

In the iOS or Android browser, go to Settings -&gt; Media and toggle "Enable Background Audio." Now video audio will keep playing even if you're in another app or your screen is locked! https://t.co/ekpXVRG7OG

I'm still using Firefox as my daily browser. 

More features like this though make it tempting to make the move to Brave. Especially Brave's direct USB-C connection for device crypto accounts which Firefox disabled.
