I explored the BTS metro line today walking 10+ miles around a few neighborhoods. Next I'll get a reusable Rabbit card from any BTS station given my passport. You can load these with THB to reuse many times.

Another great use for the metro and Rabbit card is getting change (In bills) by buying a small refresh for your card, E.g. Buying 100 THB with a 1,000 THB bill.

Cash is the most popular here for if you're not a local resident connected to the phone QR code pay and sometimes small businesses prefer not to break 1,000 THB bills.
