I reached out to 5 Thai visa services and EThaiVisa was the only one with an agent that followed up right away through the Line app, answering all of my questions. I met them at the immigration office the next day and they helped me receive my 30 day extension. 🙏🏻🇹🇭

There was a bit of a Barry Zuckerkorn moment when I had to explain to my agent how the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa METV works because they said at first that I might not be able to get an extension.

Most advice I read says to get there first thing in the morning to avoid the wait. I had a 15:00 appointment and we only waited for ~10 minutes so it must've been a good day.

# Notes to self

- Always print and bring a physical copy of the current and previous relevant visas.

Even though my Multiple Entry Tourist Visa METV had expired it was still important context to show that I wasn't "visa hoping". Fortunately I had it saved on my phone so my visa agent I hired to go with me could quickly print it out.

- The "country applying from" is the last country I entered, not my home country. So for today's case it was Vietnam since I entered Thailand coming from Vietnam in December.
