Slow is good I did my 2nd cacao ceremony tonight at @edgecity since the 1st one 5 years ago in Medellín, Colombia. Both were amazing. Because I was prepared for this one with something I needed to think through I feel that I took away even more than the 1st time. I'm well disciplined in every area of health I can think of except for sleep. - During my session I thought about how I can create positive feelings in the evening before bed - What I came up with is to think about how "slow is good". Slowing down and doing less leads to rest and sleep. - I realized before the session that I associate being tired with feeling bad and that I pump myself up in the evening to feel good about what I did that day or the upcoming day instead of allowing myself to feel tired - I didn't like "sleep is good" because that is too goal oriented. If I'm not sleeping right away than I could feel anxious.

Another part of "slow is good" for me is appreciating a completed day doing things that are important to me the same way I appreciate a good meal finished or an empty bag of coffee beans enjoyed.
