With how many web apps you can run from /brave on your phone like X, YouTube, Todoist, etc. without the Google Play store it'd be great to be able to download Brave itself from an open source like F-Droid or side load it from brave[dot]com. 🦁🌐 This gives users more options, security, and allows people to protect their privacy from Google's tracking. https://x.com/BrendanEich/status/1906212214517997736

yes on GOS you can have your playstore user for installation and updating and another non-google user for main usage
