Is there a way to add exceptions to what data Brave deletes on exiting the same way you can in Firefox?

You can't set cookie exceptions under the Clear Browsing history option, but you could use the Forgetful Browsing feature and set it as the Global default. - Visit brave://settings/shields from the Brave browser. - Click "Forget me when I close a site." This will delete cookies for all sites on close. You can then go into the Shield settings on any desired site and turn off Forgetful Browsing. This will create an exception and indicates that a specific site should not be forgotten. More on the details of this feature here: https://brave.com/privacy-updates/25-forgetful-browsing/
