something wild that is happening in this moment of my life is that im the only “parent of a kid” of the group of friends of mila (3.5 yo) that has parents that live in the same place where we live. today we hanged out all on my parents place (extremely nice house on a very beautiful pls f of the world) and it was so weird

infinite context is missing here but because it made me appreciate my parents and their absolutely absurd stupidity that i reject in an existential way more than before. and that feels so weird. loving my parents. for being who they are. ewwwwwww

It takes all kinds, but I feel you on this. Similar scenario where I want to have a relationship with them, but fundamentally disagree on certain aspects. One hopes that there is more to people than the things we don’t see eye to eye with.
