Looking at screens is way too entertaining. It was less so when screens were smaller, less immersive and more tactile. In retrospect I think this device was the optimal digital companion. It got whatever you needed done in terms of communication, looked snazzy, and didn’t suck people into a vortex away from really. Best of both worlds. We need to bring something like this back.

Compact screens offered a balance between productivity and disconnecting from digital distractions. A smaller, less immersive device could offer a healthier relationship with technology
