Sam Walton is a good source of founder mode vibes.

When he was in South America he learned their grocery stores were better on some metric I forget, and he pulled out a tape measure to how far apart the aisles were.

Reading with my dad was one of my childhood highlights. Can’t wait to do the same with my kids some day :)
