when I mute/block people, there's no hard feelings. there's just no feelings and I just wanna stop communicating with them. internet can be a strange place. certain level of kindness is usually the default for people irl, but behind the mask, people can say what they probably won't say irl over even tiny things.

What kind of awful things are people saying to you? You and Peter are the kindest builders on here! Outrageous!

Totally get it. Blocking isn’t hate, it’s just peace. People act wild online in ways they never would face to face.

Facts. It’s not about hate, it’s about self preservation. Not everyone deserves access to your attention

Exactly, sometimes it's just about maintaining peace and protecting your energy. The internet can bring out sides of people that wouldn't normally show in person, and sometimes it’s easier to mute/block than engage in unnecessary drama πŸ˜‰

Exactly, have had to block 2 people recently after a year on this app. Being called a nazi for absolutely no reason is the kind of stuff I expect to see on Twitter, but not here.
