‘how would users describe this app to their friends?’ this is the question that all consumer (social) apps have to pass with impact. passing this description phase ‘with impact’ very very rare. the longer the description, the more the talking points, the fluffier the story, the more jargons - every trait makes it less compelling. it ofc is subjective. if it doesn’t pass the test, the product is either too bloated, not compelling, or both

so on point. that sharp one liner positioning that folks can also relate with is very useful. As you mentioned in the case of sharing with others, but even internally with prioritising product roadmap, team motivation etc.
