I know a company that was using Stripe. The business sold $300k worth of goods and services to their customers. Stripe decided they didn’t like the business. Stripe returned $300k to the customers even though the customers had received their intended goods and services. The business essentially just ran a $300k marketing campaign directed by Stripe

though i do see a window of opportunity for a joint venture lawsuit if stripe actually has rekt multiple small businesses in a similar fashion

just hate to see those big shops get away with things so easily

I think that would be a pretty wasteful way to go. Lawsuits are a very negative event in life and given that they are also protracted events I would not personally recommend that path under almost any circumstance
