Building a speculative system (in social media or otherwise) is really not that difficult. What's difficult is making the system align with the values and interests of the community (and not merely incentivizing engagement and using the community for self-enrichment)

This isn't really meant as criticism but as a way to nudge projects to think about how they design their incentives.
Ultimately the value of any product or token will be determined with how much it benefits the community. Your token can skyrocket, but it will only achieve escape velocity if the community thrives
