i think most of the anti-solana takes from the farcaster crowd really have to do with the quick burnout of memecoins and the concern that if FC tapped into the solana audience it would be permanently viewed as crypto-only and exploitative by not only the rest of crypto but also the non-crypto audience. i don't think this is necessarily true. some of the new channel controls are great ideas and could prevent a single audience from dominating the network narrative, especially if WC actively pushes for topical diversity and even subsidizes content creation from solid creators in other longer-term genres. FC is already bigger than crypto - creating civil war between crypto audiences only reinforces the "farcaster is crypto-only" false narrative.
