Ethereum Account Abstraction

Frontends gating transactions based on wallet balances makes sense, but seems like a major blocker for AA and chain abstraction wallets that have a more flexible approach to gas.

Are there any EIPs or other standards out there addressing this?

Just struggled bridging via Safe because the safe had no ETH balance for execution 🤦‍♂️

Pain.

Not a fan of the "gas tank" model some wallets use. Feels like the pre-requisites for a decent AA wallet UX involve:
- Sponsored wallet deployment and other setup tasks
- Pay gas on any chain with any token from any chain

yeah, lots of potential avenues wrt paymaster + removing this entirely...cb smart wallet can subsidize free txns cause they make money from you elsewhere

Makes me wonder what the avg lifetime value of a wallet user is, assuming you're able to solve for bots
