Hardest part of working in music is managing splits across so many various parties. - Artist - Collaborators - Labels - Managers My whole thesis for onchain music is that automated splits make this way simpler once programmed but actually getting them set up is still a nightmare. Long ways to go!

Honestly making new wallets for collaborators and stakeholders who have never touched crypto and have no intention to. Lots of mental math to get the splits dialed and lots of approval needed to make sure everyone’s on the same page. Basically just a ton of manual labor to get everything squared away to the point where everyone is earning only for no one to really make that much cause it’s split so many different directions. Gonna DM you to see how we can improve our process here!

Global legacy systems built on 100+ years of music rights management. Incentives to change the status quo are extremely entrenched and incentives to change are currently non-existent for the biggest rights holders.
