at a certain level the model of a network state and a cult is the same, and when real conflict over them starts host countries will be warned that <network state du jour> is just a jonestown waiting to happen how would you convince them otherwise?

Network states being distributed physically helps solve this. If you ban a network state in US, but Singapore still wants you because of your collective talent/wealth/potential - you can vote with your feet.
