/ Sourcing: - Recruiters start by distributing the job description across job boards - While we're waiting for inbound applications, we concentrate on doing a bit of outbound. It takes about 2 weeks to get a good amount of inbound applications

/ - We gather reqs such as years of experience, specific languages/tools/technologies from our manager - The first step of outbound is to look at competitor's companies. Usually if you've been at a company for 2+ years and no promotion, I'll message you. If I hear about potential layoffs, I will also message you.

/ - If there's M&A, I'll message you. You can tell from people's profiles whether they're progressing, happy etc. Doing this enables me to get folks of a similar mission and experience level. Where this applies to you is if you've been laid off, consider moving to a competitor.

/ I used to have the linkedin premium recruiter plan, and the most important filters are: - languages, tools, technologies - year of graduation (can tell me overall years of work experience) - location (tax reasons) - come from similar cos so optimize these on your linkedin profile if you are open to web2 jobs

/ Pipeline management - What happens once I submit my resume to a job posting? - Due to the large amount of scam applications, recruiters will often add dealbreaker questions. It is very important that you answer these questions. Once you answer yes/no, you're sorted into a digital "fit" or "not a fit" pile.
