1/ Sourcing: - Recruiters start by distributing the job description across job boards - While we're waiting for inbound applications, we concentrate on doing a bit of outbound. It takes about 2 weeks to get a good amount of inbound applications

Insightful as always, Sam. How much emphasis do you find employers put on years of experience over other qualifications? i.e: Candidate has a transferable skillset they're highlighting for a job. They technically have the years, but it was developed in a different field.

Thank you soo much for this. I've been trying to find a job for several months. I have never had a problem like this in my career. Now, even for the slightest thing you can be dropped from the process without any explanation, just an email no-reply. This will help to understand how the pipeline works.
